The biggest mistake you are likely to make when it comes to changing your habits is trying to work on more than one habit at a time.

I appreciate that once you embrace the whole concept of habit changes and the effect the process can have on your life it is easy to fall into the trap of selecting lots of areas of your life where you could benefit from change.

But be realistic. Too much change at one time can be difficult to maintain. Think small baby steps.

My advice is to select just one habit and make a definite commitment to work on just that one for the next 30 days.

When you achieve success at the end of 30 days – and you will -it will give you tremendous confidence and belief to go onto the next habit. And so on one step at a time.

Be patient but persistent and change your life one small piece at a time.
